Mint Lemon Juice

Mint lemon juice is a refreshing drink and its cool for our body during hot summer days. It can be given as a welcome drink before any meal. The usage of lemon can be increased in summer days as it gives strength to the body. This drink is high in Vitamin C, acting as antioxidant to boost your immune system. Lemon improves digestive system and gives strengthened immune system. Mint leaves has anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties and so it fights against tooth decay and bad breath and is widely used in mouth fresheners.

 

Preparation Time :10minutes

Cooking Time :  -

 

Ingredients:

  • Mint leaves/Pudhina -1/2cup
  • Sugar -1tblsp
  • Pepper powder/Milagu podi -1/2tsp
  • Lemon Juice -1tblsp
  • Salt -1/2tsp or as needed
  • Chilled water -3cups or as needed 

Preparation:

  • Remove mint leaves from stems and wash mint leaves and keep
  • Chill water in fridge and keep

Procedure:

  • Take mint leaves in a blender and blend it
  • Add some chilled water or add ice cubes if you want and blend it again
  • Then add some pepper powder and salt and mix it
  • Add lemon juice and remaining water and blend it again
  • If you want to strain it, you can strain using a strainer. But I didnt strain it
  • Mint Lemon Juice is now ready!!! 

Step by step Procedure:

Take mint leaves in a blender and blend it
Add some chilled water or add ice cubes if you want and blend it again. Then add some pepper powder and salt and mix it and add lemon juice
Mint Lemon Juice is now ready!!! 

 Note:
  • If water is not chilled you can prepare the juice and then refrigerate it and then serve or serve by putting ice cubes in it
  • If the juice is refrigerated, stir it and then serve
