Fish Fry

Fish fry is a yummy and spicy non-vegetarian dish. It is an easy and quick side dish which needs only basic ingredients

Preparation Time :15minutes

Marinating Time: 30minutes

Cooking Time : 15minutes

 

Ingredients:

  • Fish -300 gms
  • Chiili powder/Milagai podi -2tblsp
  • Coriander powder/Malii podi -2tsp
  • Turmeric powder/Manjal podi -1tsp
  • Fennel seeds powder/sombu powder/perunjeerakam powder -2tsp
  • Salt -1tblsp or as needed
  • Water -1tblsp
  • Oil-1/4 cup or as needed

Preparation:

  • Wash and keep the fish aside
  • Mix chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, fennel seeds powder, salt and water and form a paste
  • Marinate fish with that paste and keep in fridge for half an hour else you can keep in sunlight or under fan too
  • You can keep in fridge at night and can fry at next day too 

Procedure:

  • Mix chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, fennel seeds powder, salt and water and form a paste
  • Marinate fish with that paste and keep in fridge for half an hour else you can keep in sunlight or under fan too
  • Pour oil in a non stick pan
  • Shallow fry the marinated fish
  • After it gets fried on one side turn it so that the other side too gets fried
  • Fish fry is now ready!!!

Step by Step Procedure:
