Beans Fry

This is one of the healthy, delicious and simple fry that be done easily if you have chopped beans else the chopping process takes little time. If you chop beans and store it in a airtight box and keep it in a fridge you can prepare this fry very easily at morning.It goes well as a side dish for rice. Beans are packed with proteins, fiber, vitamins and iron.

Preparation Time :15minutes

Cooking Time :15minutes

 

Ingredients:

  • Beans -1cup
  • Big Onion -1
  • Mustard seeds /Kadugu -1tsp
  • Urad dal /Ulutham Parupu -1/2tsp  
  • Cumin Seeds/ Seerakam -1/2tsp
  • Curry leaves -A spring
  • Coconut -1tblsp
  • Fennel seeds powder/Sombu powder/Perunjeerakam thool -1tsp
  • Green Chilli -2 or as required
  • Salt -1tsp or as required
  • Oil -1tblsp or as required

For Grinding:
 
  • Coconut -1tblsp
  • Fennel seeds powder/Sombu powder/Perunjeerakam thool -1tsp
  • Green Chilli -2 or as required

Grind this coarsely without adding water


Preparation:

  • Wash beans and chop it into fine pieces
  • Chop onion into small pieces
  • Wash curry leaves and keep
  • Grind everything given under "For Grinding" coarsely without water and keep

Procedure:

  • Pour oil in a pan
  • After oil gets heated add mustard seeds
  • After it crackles, add urad dal, cumin seeds and fry
  • Then add curry leaves, onion and fry
  • Then add beans and fry
  • Grind coconut, fennel seeds powder and green chilli coarsely without adding water
  • Add this mixture to beans and mix well and switch off the flame
  • Beans Fry is now ready!!!

Step by Step Procedure:

 
Pour oil in a pan. After oil gets heated add mustard seeds. After it crackles, add urad dal, cumin seeds and fry. Then add curry leaves, onion and fry
Then add beans and fry
Grind coconut, fennel seeds powder and green chilli coarsely without adding water
Add this mixture to beans and mix well and switch off the flame
Beans Fry is now ready!!!
