Oats Porridge

This is an easy and healthy porridge which is made with oats and hot milk. It is a simple and easy breakfast recipe and it is healthy too. You can buy any ready made oats packet from stores and then make this porridge. Oatmeal is a whole grain, and eating whole grains can lower your risk for several diseases, including high blood pressure and type -2 diabetes. Oatmeal is a source of fiber. That means when you eat oats for breakfast, you will feel full for a long time. Breakfast foods high in sugar and fat can make you feel full for a brief period.It can satisfy your hunger easily till lunch. Oats helps to lower our weight and in lowering cholesterol too. Oats helps to control blood pressure and in lowering bad cholesterol in our body.

Preparation Time :10minutes

Cooking Time :5minutes


Ingredients:

  • Oats -1cup
  • Hot milk -2cups
  • Banana -1
  • Dates -4
  • Cashew -5
  • Badam -5
  • Kismis -25
  • Sugar -2tblsp or as required
  • Honey -1tblsp

Preparation:

  • Boil milk and keep. The milk should be very hot
  • Chop banana and keep
  • Chop dates, cashew, badam and keep

Procedure:

  • Boil milk and keep
  • Take oats in a bowl 
  • Add the hot milk to it and keep it for fifteen minutes
  • Then add sugar and honey and mix well
  • Chop some bananas and add into it
  • Then chop some dates and add and mix well
  • Then add chopped cashew, badam and mix well
  • Then add kismis and mix well
  • Oats Porridge is now ready!!!

Step by Step Procedure:

Take oats in a bowl 
Add the hot milk to it and keep it for fifteen minutes
Then add sugar and honey and mix well
Chop some bananas and add into it
Then chop some dates and add and mix well
Then add chopped cashew, badam and kismis and mix well
Then add kismis and mix well  
Oats Porridge is now ready!!!
