Pomegranate Milkshake
This is a tasty and healthy milkshake which is made with pomegranate. It requires only few ingredients to prepare but tastes awesome. You can have it as a healthy drink in this summer. The name pomegranate derives from the French word “pomegranate” or seeded apple.Pomegranate has a lot of health benefits too. Drinking pomegranate juice benefits our health and skin in a number of
ways. It is one of the few fruits whose juice is as beneficial as the
fruit itself. This is because the peel contains the maximum amount of
antioxidants which are released in abundance when the fruit is squeezed
while juicing. So lets see the recipe now
Preparation Time :15minutes
Cooking Time : -
Ingredients:
- Pomegranate -1
- Milk -2cup
- Ice cream -1scoop(For home made ice cream recipe click here -->Home made Vanilla Ice cream
- Sugar -1/4 cup
Preparation:
- Take the pomegranate out of the shell and keep
- If you have ice cream use it, else make home made ice cream
Procedure:
- Take pomegranate, milk, sugar in a tall mixer jar and blend
- Strain it using a strainer
- Add this in a mixer and add ice cream and blend again
- Pomegranate milkshake is now ready!!!

Easy Pasipayir Sundal without coconut/Easy whole green gram sundal
This is an easy recipe and you can have it as a healthy snack when you feel hungry. It involves very less cooking time and involves no soaking too. Instead of having junk foods like pizza, puffs as a evening snack you can have healthy snack like this. The green gram is one of the healthiest pulses. It is rich in proteins, fiber, minerals, calcium,
phosphorus, iron. It can be used in sprouted form also
Preparation Time :5minutes
Cooking Time :20minutes
Ingredients:
- Whole greem gram/ Pasi payir -2cup
- Big onion -1
- Red chilli -3
- Mustard seeds/Kadugu -1tsp
- Curry leaves -A spring
- Salt -2tsp or as required
- Oil -2tsp or as required
- Water -3cups or as required
Preparation:
- Chop onion into small pieces
Procedure:
- Take whole green gram in a cooker and add water to it and pressure cook it for 2whistles in high flame and in low flame for 10 minutes
- Pour oil in a pan
- Add mustard seeds and after it crackles add red chilli, curry leaves and onion and fry till it becomes golden brown in color
- Then add the boiled green gram and mix well
- Green gram Sundal is now ready!!!
