Chicken 65 is a spicy deep fried chicken dish which goes well as a side dish for rice, biriyani or can be eaten as a snack. It is the most popular starter or quick appetizer in many restaurants. Its my favorite dish and you can prepare the masala at home or you can use any ready made mix bought at stores. This is a simple version of chicken 65 which requires only few ingredients.
Preparation Time :10minutes
Marination Time: 30minutes
Cooking Time :10minutes
Ingredients:
- Chicken -1/4kg
- Red chilli powder/Milagai podi -1tblsp or as required
- Pepper powder/Milagu podi -1/2tsp
- Fennel seeds powder/Sombu powder/Perunjeeragam powder -2tsp
- Ginger garlic paste -2tsp
- Salt -1tblsp or as required
- Lemon juice -1tblsp
- Oil -for deep frying
Preparation:
- Wash the chicken pieces and keep
- Grind ginger and garlic into a fine paste or you can use ready made paste also
- Marinate chicken with red chilli powder, pepper powder,fennel seeds powder, ginger garlic paste and salt and keep in fridge for half an hour or you can keep in fridge overnight
Procedure:
- Wash chicken pieces and marinate with red chilli powder, pepper powder,fennel seeds powder, ginger garlic paste and salt and keep in fridge for half an hour
- Then take it and keep outside
- Pour oil in kadai
- After oil gets heated, take the marinated chicken pieces and deep fry one by one
- Drain the oil and squeeze lemon juice at top and mix
- Chicken 65 is now ready!!!
Step by Step Procedure:
Marinate
chicken with red chilli powder, pepper powder,fennel seeds powder,
